 Welcome to Crafty Connections – I’m Pippa Spibey, the heart behind this space. Crafting has always been more than just a pastime for me; it’s been a lifeline, a way of building community, and a celebration of creativity that bridges generations and cultures.

When I first arrived in Australia, I experienced firsthand how isolating big changes can feel. It was through craft groups that I found healing, friendship, and a renewed sense of belonging. That’s the power of making with our hands—it connects us, grounds us, and reminds us that we are part of something bigger

At Crafty Connections, we’re not just an online store. We are a community collective, a family of makers and dreamers who believe in the value of handmade. Every product here—whether it’s a bag, quilt, baby item, or home décor piece—tells a story. It carries the time, love, and skill of the artisan who made it. Our focus is on sustainability and blending old and new:  repurposing materials and infusing them with both modern design and cultural heritage
